Ecoboo Maldives Hotel - Thinadhoo (Vaavu Atoll)

Easy access, speedboat transfers, beachside dining, nurse sharks, excellent food, diverse menu.

Spending Christmas in the Maldives was magical, the crystal, clear waters never cease to amaze me. the free pick, up from the airport was a great touch, and the speedboat transfer was quick and easy. the food was delicious, and I enjoyed trying something new almost every day. I loved the fact that we could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner by the beach with a cool breeze. the best part was getting close to the nurse sharks, which swam by the beach in the evenings and were mesmerizing to watch.

I must say, I was disappointed by the lack of activities offered during the holiday period. With the Christmas spirit all around, they should have offered more festivities and made the atmosphere more festive.

This hotel is conveniently located, not too far from Male but still offering a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. the easy access by speedboat organized by the hotel ensures a hassle, free journey. the beachfront location provides a stunning view and a refreshing breeze to enjoy. the rooms are comfortable and well, maintained, with clean and spacious bathrooms. the service is top, notch, with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist. the breakfast, lunch, and dinner options offered by the hotel are excellent and varied, ensuring guests have a different dining experience every day. the experience pack, including daily snorkeling trips guided by a knowledgeable local crew, adds an exciting touch to the stay.

It would have been great if there were more vegetarian options available in the dining menu.

I recently had an very nice stay in Thinadhoo. The location of the hotel was just right, not too close to the city but also not too far away. Getting there was easy, with the hotel organizing a speedboat transfer from Male. The beachside setting for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was good, with a cool ocean breeze adding to the ambiance. Cleanliness was perfect, and the hotel facilities were great. Plus, the fact that it was located on an inhabited island made the experience even more special.

Not too close from Male and not to far. Easy access by speedboat fully organised by the hotel. Nurse sharks passing by in the evening are amazing. Food is excellent. Staying 7 nights, we always had something different everyday. The experience pack is just amazing : you get to go snorkeling everyday in a different spot with a local crew. The master diver knows perfectly all the places and will help you spot turtles, rays, reef sharks, star fish etc. Great experience on an habited island.

The room was a bit small and cramped for our liking. The Wi-Fi signal was weak and unreliable during our stay.

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel and I must say, the experience was quite luxurious. The location of this place is perfect, as it is situated on an inhabited island right by the beach. I loved waking up to the sound of the waves and feeling the nice breeze while having my meals by the beach. The hotel also offers a variety of amenities like housekeeping, laundry service, and airport shuttle, making my stay even more comfortable. The staff here is extremely helpful and friendly, which added to the quality of service.

All in all, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay. The location, service, and amenities provided here make it an ideal choice for a relaxing vacation.
